Technical service and storehouse

This page is dedicated to the people who run our storehouse.
They collect, separate, repair, test and have fun together. The outcome of this proces are units, capable of working in the worst circumstances, first aid kits, ART sets, you name it, they make it.
Below you will find pictures of the 'Hard Core' of our storehouse. On the left Wim van Draanen our cheer-leader, on the right the team.
Needless to say that not all volunteers were present. For instance Tanny, our ever smiling storehouse secretary and the sunshine for the boys. (she had a tennis appointment the afternoon the pictures were taken)
And Herman, he comes in early, works hard and leaves early.
The crew is present every Tuesday. The packages that are being prepared vary from a simple set of forceps, a dental first aid set, to a completely fit up dental practice.
Many applications for help come from other NGO's that have little or no experience with dental equipment. The need for dental assistance often arises in health projects where dental equipment may be a spin off from refurbishing a local hospital or in an institution for disabled people where a well-equipped room for dentistry is urgently needed. That's where DHIN comes in with its long experience in these kind of projects.
Our crew exists of volunteers, some are dentists and some are former dental technicians from the dental service of the Dutch Army.
Every year these people prepare about 150(!) packages varying from a repaired airrotor, an emergency care kit, an ART kit to a complete dental cabinet. You name it, they make it.
Of course we have many instruments in stock. Below some pictures of it.
