Community Oral Health

The discipline of dental public health (or more broadly, Community Oral Health) is required by the General Dental Council to be taught in every UK dental school.

There is also now an established specialty of Dental Public Health within the National Health Service, as well as an option to take Dental Public Health for the second part of the Fellowship of Dental Surgeons.

It can be seen , therefore, that the subject is becoming an increasingly important component of dental education and training today, and this new book should meet an urgent need for a relevant text in this area.


Edited by a well-known and respected authority on Community Oral Health, contributions have been sought from experts around the globe to reflect the international approach taken by this work.
